On Saturday afternoon we hiked up to the monastery of the "Vanishing Priest". We started off by greeting goats and the goatherds after which we climbed the mountain, managing to reach the top just before the rain really started. Fortunately there were lots of little caves perfect for sheltering in (we weren't quite so fortunate on the way down!). It's an incredible place with amazing views and a load of history we now need to find out about. We're enjoying being at that stage of life when all our children are able to go on a decent hike, something we can all enjoy doing together.
