but there are loads to choose from online.
I managed to get rid of lots of odd bits of wool when making this.

This one is good for newborns.
Hat patterns can easily be adjusted for different sizes.

I used the pattern for baby booties from this book
and adjusted it to make them bigger.

I used the same pattern for the shawl (see above)
to make this throw. Big needles and pulling the wool forward makes holes and
creates a larger finish.

I've discovered various patterns for making dishcloths.
They're very quick makes and good for my emergency present drawer.
