Newroz

It's that time of year again- Newroz! For the weeks leading up to Newroz the ladies go and choose dress material which we then take to a tailors (ladies in their homes) to get new outfits made. Then 21-23 March are full of picnics in the mountains with family, friends and neighbours. It's a lot of fun (especially when the weather is as good as it was this year) but pretty exhausting too. We normally leave home at 9 to get a good picnic spot then stay through until after a barbeque dinner at 8ish.

On Day One we went with our neighbours to a place in the mountains out of the city.

The men spent most of the day playing cards under a tree.
They tried out their headgear on J!
