Newroz Day 3 we enjoyed a low key, afternoon picnic with friends on the edge of the city and I particularly enjoyed not wearing K dress! We had a fun game of volleyball with a neighbouring picnic group and left the men up the mountain making kebabs on the fire into the night.
My favourite moment was when a delightful old lady insisted on laying down old bits of carpet over the muddy track for one of the cars to drive across! Such hospitality! She then invited us to visit her in her nearby village which we hope to do very soon.
