We had a great couple of days away with friends in the mountains after Christmas. It's such a beautiful place and the weather was warm and sunny. It's so good to get away sometimes!
We braved the super fast, very fun "shingelbane" which takes you down into the gorge and back up again. Us mums went together and didn't break all the way down to prove that life really does begin at 40!
We stopped off in an ancient town on the way home and climbed up to the top of the mountain on the right of this photo (there were steps up to the ruins on top):
