Praying What Jesus Wants

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, 

ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

John 15.7

Here is the extraordinary thing: the more we get to know Christ, the more we want what Christ wants, and therefore the more effective are our prayers. Our will becomes more akin to his will, and therefore, when we pray for what we want, we are now also increasingly praying what he wants.
