Newroz was so great this year. The sun shone, everything was green and beautiful, we enjoyed being with really close friends and getting to know their extended families. Day One we went with friends from karate and found a beautiful spot in the mountains in an orchard by a stream. In the afternoon we were interviewed by a local TV station- they did a feature on this odd British family who had "become Kurdish"!
