Games, Babies and Knitting

We LOVE this game, Who Knows Where? A great way to test/show your ignorance of  world geography!

Karate girls

Tigris was quite keen to go in Jy's suitcase when he went to the UK
earlier this month with J.

Home school can be quite a challenge during long power cuts
as our house gets quite dark, and more so when Tigris comes in and
gets comfortable on the work.

First sight of snow from inside the city

Enjoying new baby cuddles

Our local Syrian pizza place

Visiting friends in one of the Syrian camps

I finished the mitred square rug I started in the summer- just in time for winter!

L&K have very much taken up knitting- the house is full of wool and needles! (R's crocheting adds to the mix too.)

Always so grateful for food from neighbours- what a blessing of life here!

Friends wearing their unofficial uniform- grey and black!

Visiting friends in their newly muralled home

How do they all stay on there?

More baby cuddles in an IDP camp

Playing memory with London landmark cards was a big hit

I really admire the family who lives here, how they have made their tent so much more homely and live-able in (eg colourful insulation and a small concrete wall around the inside of the tent to lean on).

We love this new game we were given- Avocado Smash.
We like games even more if we can play them with locals and I think this one will prove popular.

Such a treat to go out for breakfast!

An afternoon out in the sunshine and bracing wind with the sheep.
