The brokenness of the lives of people around us can be so overwhelming. I am involved in the lives of various women at the moment who are broken in spirit (but in varying degrees hiding it and denying it, as this culture requires) and experiencing the effects of a broken world. I long for them to know about the Lord Jesus, who was broken more completely than we could ever imagine, so that we could be made whole.
