Animals

Before we left for the UK we somehow managed to increase the number of animals in our menagerie! One night we were given a chick by a boy who didn't want it any more; another evening our neighbours came over and presented us with a very cute baby rabbit which they'd decided was lonely and needed some friends; another baby rabbit appeared in our run one morning and we're not at all sure if he was born in their burrow or if it was planted by another neighbour. Now we're away a family are living in our house and have managed to get several chicks hatched from our chickens which is better than we did! L in particular is very happy to have all these animals around us. 

L is at her happiest when her arms are filled with either animals or babies or both!

and even came top of the class so she got given presents from the teachers:
