'Tis the season of babies it appears. Two have been born to our friends in the past few days and it has been a privilege to have been involved:

This Yezidi IDP baby was born at the same time as I was in hospital with another lady for her baby's birth so I sadly couldn't be at his birth as I'd said I would be. This was really sad for me. But we got to see him the next day. His mum hand-sewed him this beautiful Victorian bonnet! He was wearing a dress she had made for him out of L's hand-me-down pink flowery skirt!:
