We love Syrian weddings. They are very loud (which means you can just sit and people-watch because talking is almost impossible) and they really know how to dance. I love the fact that even though they have been through so much, have been displaced from their homeland and their future looks bleak, when it comes to a wedding they really do know how to throw a party, celebrate and have fun.
