Green!

In the Summer we don't often enjoy seeing the colour green so we feasted our eyes on this paddy field next to the orchard we visited with friends. They are IDPs (internally displaced people) and live in a shepherd's croft and look after the orchard of one of the locals. The word used for orchard is really also used for an allotment. We came away laden with fruit and veg. We've found it's really important to be able to accept things from IDPs/refugees, not just be the givers in the relationship. This is a lot healthier in a culture where an unhealthy dependency is rife and it gives them dignity which a hand-out culture can so easily remove.
