Waterfall

It's a treat to be spending the evening babysitting for some friends so I can catch up on my blog, especially photos which I'm a little behind on.

We recently had a day out in the mountains north of our city. It was such a wonderful day. We first stopped off at an archaeological dig where they were finding treasures from 1500 BC! Urns, ovens, steps and tablets with cuneiform writing on were some of their discoveries. Then we drove up a nerve-racking hair-pin bend mountain and spent some really fun time at a beautiful waterfall there.

We then made our way to a cave in the mountain- such a fun place. We paddled into the cave through really cold water in the pitch dark, they then put a light on and the most beautiful cave was revealed: a deep cave full of water of so many colours and stalagmites looking like spooky animals.
