Promises

We are hurt when people don't keep their promises. Our children hate it when as parents we sinfully break our promises to them. It was wonderful to see this morning how God, our faithful Father keeps his promises, even from the beginning to the end of time. He is totally and utterly trustworthy!

I was reading Revelation 7.9:

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude 
that no one could count,

from every nation, tribe, people and language,

standing before the throne and before the Lamb.

What did God promise to Abraham back in Genesis 15.5?

He took him outside and said,

'Look up at the sky and count the stars-
 if indeed you can count them.'

Then he said to him,

'So shall your offspring be.'
