Beauty in the Place of Bombs

We visited a yezidi IDP community to distribute food. I love visiting this shepherding village. It's a really fun time enjoying the outdoors: the sheep, lambs and puppies; trees to climb and the space to roam. There's also a fair few human babies to play with too which the children love! The women always appear to love hearing stories read to them.
There's a patch of ground in the village which used to be a house but was destroyed by a bomb during Sadam's time. When the family returned to their village and destroyed house they decided to build elsewhere and fill the ground with beautiful flowers.
