We met up with a family at a really fascinating archealogical site outside of our city. It dates back to the 700s B.C. (the time of the exiles in the Old Testament) and was a place where the rich Assyrians from Ninevah would go for their summer retreats. There are caves, ancient friezes of King Sennacherib, good spots for climbing and a river.
