An hour or so into school today my Syrian friend turned up with some of her children. This meant school was over and the children instead enjoyed lots of baby cuddles with this newishborn and Jy had fun playing all sorts of things with his friend including gymnastics and catapulting things from the roof into the school beyond (hmmm, maybe not such a great idea). We then took them back to their camp where there was a big party going on to welcome home lots of soldiers. K enjoyed waving to them all in the backs of their trucks as they drove past us to the camp!
