Malala
I have just finished listening to I Am Malala on audible. I loved it from beginning to end. I appreciated learning about the history and culture of Pakistan, as well as more about Malala herself. It's a fascinating and gripping book.
It's written for adults (there is a picture book for children)but as I was listening to it on audible RLJ&K heard quite a lot of it and R&L got interested in it. There's quite a lot of detail re politics etc which could be over their heads and also sections describing taliban violence. Sounds weird maybe but ours are kind of used to hearing about violence in real life so they're maybe a bit less shockable when they hear about it in books. I'd recommend you reading it first.
What age is this book suitable for? Will you let R and L read it? x
